Submission Rules
- The disclaimer in the website's footer is considered to apply to all content contained within the website, including submissions. The printed format of each submission includes that disclaimer. (In other words, you are encouraged not to add additional dislcaimers to your story.)
- Stories must be submitted to the proper category. If there is an appropriate sub-category, DO NOT add your story to the main category. The submission form allows you to choose multiple categories for your story, and we worked very hard to add that functionality for you. So please do NOT add your story multiple times!
- Titles and summaries must be kid friendly. No exceptions.
- "Please read", "Untitled", etc. are not acceptable titles or summaries. The administrators again reserve the right to suspend repeat offenders.
- Correct grammar and spelling are expected of all stories submitted to this site. The site administrators are not grammar Nazis. However, the site administrators reserve the right to request corrections in submissions with a multitude of grammar and/or spelling errors. If such a request is ignored, the story will be deleted.
- Submissions in chat or script format, submissions that require audience direction, and sumissions where the author directly interacts in the body of the fanfic, as in a fourth-wall fic, are also forbidden, and will be removed.
- All stories must be rated correctly and have the appropriate warnings. All adult rated stories are expected to have warnings. After all, they wouldn't have that rating if there wasn't something to be warned about! Please respect those who do not wish to read them by labeling them appropriately, especially for potentially objectionable content.
- Stories with multiple chapters should be archived as such and NEVER as separate stories. Upload the first chapter of your story, then go to Manage Stories in your account to add additional chapters. If you have trouble with this, please contact the site administrator or ask a friend to help you.
- As much as possible, spoiler warnings are expected on all stories in the KH: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 2 categories. An appropriate spoiler warning to place in your summary would be: Spoilers for the second half of KH2 or Spoilers for DiZ's backstory. DO NOT do anything like this: Spoilers for when [character] dies. DO NOT place spoilers in your summary.
- Before submitting your fics, be sure to read this post regarding what constitutes spoilers and what the character entries mean. If you do not follow those conventions, you may be contacted by an administrator to change your submission. If you do not comply, an administrator will change it themselves, and repeated offenses can result in account removal.
- Do not under any circumstances post material with the sole intent of bashing characters or pairings that other people may appreciate and support. That will not be tolerated and such material will be removed, and repeated offenses can result in an account removal.
- Plagiarism is a one-shot offense. If you are found guilty of it, your account will be removed.
Submissions found to be in violation of these rules may be removed and the author's account suspended at the discretion of the site administrators and/or moderators. The site administrators reserve the right to modify these rules as needed.
